The WRV High School Boys and Girls Cross Country teams competed in the Terre Haute South Valley Kickoff Invitational this past Saturday at LaVern Gibson course. The Boys team finished in 25th place, and the Girls team only had two runners competed, so they did not register a team score. Individual results are as follows: Boys Times: Landon Lundy -- 17:23.34 Karter Alexander -- 21:05.30 Harley Bennett -- 21:15.37 Derek Sullivan -- 23:55.38 Joe Straw -- 29:46.35 Tristan Verseman -- 31:37.12 Girls Times: Kate Linneweber -- 22:43.33 Izabel DeLoof -- 39:51.64 Both teams compete on Wednesday night at Eastern Greene at 5:30pm. Other teams competing will be Lighthouse Christian Academy, Seven Oaks and Shakamak.
