The Lady Wolverines faced off against a tough Pike Central Chargers squad on Tuesday, with both teams entering the match undefeated. Pike Central struck first, scoring midway through the first half. Despite several strong offensive pushes and multiple shots on goal, the Lady Wolverines couldn’t find the back of the net. The Chargers added another goal just before halftime to take a 2–0 lead. Early in the second half, the Wolverines had a chance to close the gap, but the Pike Central goalkeeper came up with a big save. The Lady Wolverines continued to battle hard until the final whistle, but the Chargers pulled away late to secure a 4–0 victory. The Lady Wolverines will be back in action on Friday as they travel to Bloomfield. Come out and support your Lady Wolverines!
