The Lady Wolverines hit the road Monday night and came away with a convincing 5-0 victory over the Lady Patriots, improving their record to 3-1 on the season. The Wolverines struck early when Maddy Pierce found the back of the net to put her team on the board. Just before halftime, Maddy Settles extended the lead to 2-0 with a well-placed goal. After the break, it was all “The Machine.” Maddy Settles lived up to her nickname, netting three more goals in the second half to seal the victory and complete her hat trick. The Wolverines’ defense, anchored by the “Fab Five” — Jazzy, Amira, Ava, Avy, and Kylan — stood tall once again, securing their second shutout of the young season. With the win, the Lady Wolverines continue to build momentum as they move deeper into conference play.
